WE ARE WILDCAT!

Wildcat Club is an official member of the YMCA Adventure Guides Program, through the Magdalena Ecke YMCA of Encinitas. We bring dads and their school-age daughters together for weekends of safe and wholesome activities, camping, fun, and friendship.

We are comprised of more than 100 dads and 200 girls, in seven Groups. We are always welcoming new members at any time of the year, and openly encourage joining as early as kindergarten. *(Our youngest girls will be the future of the club of course!)

WHAT
WE
DO

We camp with our daughters for a weekend, once a month.  We build community, promote The Six Aims, and we have tons of fun in the outdoors!  Camping ranges from the beach to the mountains, deserts, cabin camps, and even Catalina Island.

OUR
SIX
AIMS

We teach and follow the "Six Aims", a set of simple principles to help improve our families, relationships, and community, for the rest of our lives.

  1. To be clean in body and pure in heart.

  2. To be pals forever with my dad/daughter.

  3. To love the sacred circle of my family.

  4. To listen when others speak.

  5. To love my neighbor as myself.

  6. To seek and preserve the beauty of the great spirit's work in forest, field, and stream.

MEMORIES
FOR
LIFE

We aim to create an experience for dads and their daughters to treasure and remember for the rest of their lives. Everyone is involved and nobody is left out. We have no agenda and we welcome families from all walks of life and all ability and experience levels.
