Situated just 50 Miles northeast of Carlsbad, Lake Skinner is a complete outdoor recreational facility.
NOVEMBER TRADITION! Thanksgiving potluck on Saturday night! Each group will prepare a main and a side, for a HUGE Wildcat Turkey Day feast to be enjoyed by all! Awards will be given!
If that isn't enough, Friday night is our annual Chili Cookoff! More food! More awards! More Fun!
Saturday special activities for this campout are currently in planning by your host and co-host the Galloping Ponies and the Painted Ponies. An email will be sent the week prior to the campout with details.

Nestled in the rolling hills of Winchester, CA, beautiful Lake Skinner Recreation Area offers expansive natural vistas and a multitude of recreational opportunities, including splash pad, hiking, sailing, and fishing.

Camping sites include picnic benches and fire rings. Most away-from-home needs can be met with a visit to the well-stocked camp store.
